A small extension for people who collect visual references all day.
PromptLens sits quietly in the browser. When you find an image worth studying, it helps turn that image into a clean prompt description without forcing you to download the file, upload it somewhere else, and start over.
Hover a large image or use the right-click menu, then extract a structured prompt while staying on the same page.
You can connect it to your Image to Prompt account, or configure your own OpenAI-compatible provider if you prefer to keep the workflow independent.
The result is a compact JSON prompt description that you can edit, copy, and bring back into the Image to Prompt workbench when you need a cleaner version.
Most image-to-prompt tools ask you to stop what you are doing: save the image, open another tab, upload it, wait, and then copy the result back into your notes. PromptLens is our attempt to remove that little bit of friction. It is not meant to be flashy. It is meant to be there when a reference image catches your eye.
The extension can use the hosted Image to Prompt account flow, which is the simplest option if you already use the workbench and want your prompt history in one place. It can also run with a custom provider, so teams who already have their own OpenRouter or OpenAI-compatible endpoint do not have to route everything through our site.
For now we are sending it manually. That lets us help with setup, learn which sites people actually use it on, and avoid shipping a half-explained extension to users who only wanted the regular web tool.
Send a short email and tell us what browser you use, whether you want the website account mode or your own provider, and what kind of images you usually reverse into prompts.
